currahee! the camp toccoa association

World War II was won by all of the men and women who answered their country's call in its darkest hour. Camp Toccoa and the Town of Toccoa Georgia were made famous by Tom Hanks and Stephen Spielberg's HBO classic series 'Band of Brothers'. Currahee! The Camp Toccoa Association honors and celebrates the effort and sacrifice from each and every soldier who passed through 'Camp Toccoa' during the war.
The 'Association' also recognizes the much appreciated patronage of those who visit and donate to the Currahee Military Museum located in Toccoa, Georgia. We welcome all friends of the Museum to this 'Association'.

Currahee!  Glad to be here.  Hope to get a trip set up with my cousin and my sister to visit Camp Toccoa.  Our great-uncle, Sgt. Garland "Tex" Collier was in HQ/3BN/506 PIR.  He was KIA/MIA near Opheusden, Holland on 5 Oct 1944.  He is listed on the Tablets of the Missing at Margraten.  His remains have never been recovered.
